THE CHALLENGE
SGS recognized a growing demand for vehicle antenna testing, driven by automotive manufacturers needing to meet both internal standards and regional certification requirements globally. In response, SGS sought an efficient and reliable antenna test chamber capable of accommodating full vehicles and platforms. This pursuit led to the establishment of the world’s first third-party multi-probe full vehicle OTA laboratory, equipped to support a range of technologies in compliance with the 5GAA Vehicular Antenna Test Methodology (VATM) Standard.
