In recent years vehicles have practically become mobile phones on wheels. The trend for digitization, connectivity, and autonomous driving is accelerating and is challenging the automotive industry. This also challenges interoperability and further quality and regulatory requirements.
The Radio Equipment Directive (RED) requests OEMs to prove the validity of component certificates in vehicle (system) environments. In addition to the RED, various market specific norms and regulations in place are expected to become more stringent. Further measures are necessary in order to boost investigations at the system level. These will be based on risk assessments, simulations and measurements.
EMV 2022 will be hosting a workshop specifically addressing these issues for the automotive industry. The workshop will highlight the various challenges for automotive manufacturers from the methodology point of view of OEMs, test infrastructure system and equipment providers. MVG is pleased to participate in this workshop and will be contributing its expertise in system-level performance testing of full-scale vehicles.
Join us at EMV 2022, in Cologne, Germany, in Workshop 11, on Wednesday, July 13, 08:45 - 12:00
