Shielded Anechoic Chamber Considerations white paper.png

A shielded enclosure, or shielded room, is a chamber or enclosure designed to create an area that is electromagnetically quiet and protected from outside influences, as well as contain electromagnetic energy from escaping in an unwanted manner. These chambers are used for electromagnetic interference testing, Tempest and HIRF/EMP protection rooms and security offices, and MRI enclosures.

Designed to meet a wide variety of needs and applications, these chambers have many options which should be considered. When specifying a shielded enclosure, careful consideration of these aspects will assure a successful installation, meeting the needs of the company for many years.
